Co-Founder & Head of Curriculum
David spent 14 years at a top SaaS company, the last five as Head of Platform Engineering where he designed the internal training program that onboarded over 60 engineers onto their Kubernetes platform. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and co-authored a widely cited paper on deliberate practice in software engineering skill development.
Aisha Conteh
Co-Founder & CEO
Aisha led product at an education technology company that scaled to two million learners before its acquisition. She brings deep expertise in instructional design, learning analytics, and building products that keep students engaged over multi-week programs. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Dr. Samuel Roth
Co-Founder & Head of Lab Technology
Sam built automated cloud provisioning systems during his PhD at Princeton and spent four years applying them at a DevOps platform company. He designed LiveStudy's cloud lab engine from the ground up, focusing on realistic environment fidelity and cost-controlled sandboxing. He teaches the Infrastructure-as-Code Lab.
Katherine Park
Lead Instructor, SRE & Reliability
Katherine spent 12 years in SRE and platform roles at two major cloud providers, rising to SRE Lead for a service handling over a billion requests per day. She joined LiveStudy because she believes operational discipline is the most undertaught and most important skill in cloud engineering. She teaches the SRE & Reliability Masterclass.
Tomasz Wierzbicki
Lead Instructor, Cloud Fundamentals
Tomasz worked on the infrastructure team at two European cloud providers before moving to consulting as a cloud architect at a large systems integrator. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of how cloud services map to physical infrastructure and teaches the Foundations of Cloud Infrastructure program.
