David spent 14 years at a top Chicago proprietary trading firm, the last five as Head of Trader Development where he designed the internal training program that produced over 60 profitable traders. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and co-authored a widely cited paper on deliberate practice in financial decision-making.
Aisha Conteh
Co-Founder & CEO
Aisha led product at an education technology company that scaled to two million learners before its acquisition. She brings deep expertise in instructional design, learning analytics, and building products that keep students engaged over multi-week programs. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Dr. Samuel Roth
Co-Founder & Head of Simulation Technology
Sam built agent-based market simulation models during his PhD at Princeton and spent four years applying them at a quantitative hedge fund. He designed LiveStudy's simulation engine from the ground up, focusing on realistic order-book reconstruction and behavioral fidelity. He teaches the Quantitative Strategy Lab.
Katherine Park
Lead Instructor, Risk Management
Katherine spent 12 years in risk management roles at two global macro funds, rising to Head of Risk at a fund managing over four billion dollars. She joined LiveStudy because she believes risk discipline is the most undertaught and most important skill in trading. She teaches the Risk Management Masterclass.
Tomasz Wierzbicki
Lead Instructor, Market Structure
Tomasz worked on the technology side of two European stock exchanges before moving to the buy side as a market-structure analyst at a large asset manager. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of how orders flow through the modern trading ecosystem and teaches the Foundations of Market Structure program.
